The Story Behind Breezy Dog Cafe
I’ve always loved attending fairs and festivals—the energy, the people, the vibe—it’s all so much fun… until I get hungry. As someone with celiac disease, finding something safe to eat is nearly impossible. On the rare occasions I do find something, it’s usually fried and far from healthy.
We often bring our fur babies along, but there’s rarely anything they can enjoy either. And of course, they always think they should share whatever we’re eating—which doesn’t exactly work with most festival food.
So one day I thought: why not start my own food trailer? I’ve worked in the Food & Beverage industry for years, but I’m not a chef. Then it hit me—I have craft espresso training! An idea started brewing (pun intended).
I decided on an Espresso Trailer paired with something easy to make, easy to eat while walking around, and—most importantly—completely gluten free. The answer was right there on the trailer I purchased: waffle pops!
And just like that, Breezy Dog Café was born—a dedicated gluten-free food trailer serving waffle pops, craft espresso, and even special waffles for the pups, which we call “woofles.”
Now, we get to be that special vendor who truly has something for everyone—even those who can’t have gluten.
🎵 “Breezy Dog Café, come on by today!
Waffle pops and woofles, espresso on the way!
Gluten-free and happy, it’s the festival treat—
For paws and people, something sweet to eat!” 🎵
